New Speedway Connect Software Helps Right-Size RAIN RFID Solutions
The new release of Impinj Speedway Connect software makes it easier and faster for companies to solve a broad range of business needs with RAIN RFID.
Recognizing the diverse needs of our partners and customers, Impinj has enhanced the capabilities of our Impinj Speedway Connect software to include configurations for collecting item location and direction with Impinj gateways.
Speedway Connect is on-reader software that speeds RAIN RFID deployments by enabling users to easily set configurations for an Impinj reader or gateway and quickly access RAIN RFID data for business applications. The easy-to-use graphical interface facilitates setting up reader configurations to quickly read tag data such as EPC, TID, and user memory, and record other relevant information such as last seen timestamp and antenna ID. Multiple protocols are provided for passing RAIN RFID data to an application without costly software development or middleware expenses.
With the new release of Speedway Connect, you can now:
- Report locations or direction of travel of tagged items with Impinj xArray gateways
- Report tagged items’ direction of travel with Impinj xSpan gateways
